Among Xhosa people: a form of sexual play (especially among courting adolescents) in which the genitals are brought together (sometimes through a cloth barrier), but in which penetration does not take place.
Note:
A traditionally-accepted practice for unmarried couples which may also be practised by married couples as a form of contraception.
