Any of several shrubs or small trees: a. Either of two species of Halleria of the Scrophulariaceae, H. lucida or H. elliptica. See also notsung. b. Cordia caffra of the Boraginaceae. c. The dwadwa, Leucosidea sericea.
Note:
In F. von Breitenbach’s Nat. List of Indigenous Trees (1987), the name ‘septee tree’ is used for C. Caffra; see also notes at dwadwa, notsung.
